A vibrant red, of picotas and bigarreau cherries with a high cap and steely reflections. This wine evolves on the nose starting with sugared fruits and moving onto smokiness and mineral notes. The taste is balanced, silky and surrounding with punchy fruitiness. Perfect now or aged for 7 years. Would be a great companion with Gazpacho, stews and bushmeat.
These grapes are produced in the middle of Hoces del Cabriel which is situated 700 metres above sea level and is marked with the Atlantic climate; one where it is not afraid to rain! This climate combined with the mature age of the vineyard of between 50-70 years is what gives this wine the freshness and special mineralidad.
