Bodegas Enrique Mendoza is situated on the Meditteranean coast and run by brothers Pepe and Julian. The estate itself is a member of the prestigious Grandes Pagos de España which demands high standards and highlights the characteristics of specific vineyards. In addition, they use environmentally friendly techniques and their soil is nourished by their own cattle.
This wine is made from 100% Monastrell grapes that are grown on the unique 70 year old, 700m altitude vineyard named Estrecho de Pipa. The wine is then aged for 14 months in French oak barrels. The result is a fruity, ruby, red wine with balsamic notes. Soft tannins, easy to drink and fresh.
